We hosted a baby shower event at the Soap Bar Cafe today, an area was set aside for us to decorate and play some baby shower games. The service was second to none, happy, friendly, attentive staff who couldn't do enough to make sure our baby shower went off without a hitch. The food provided was of a high standard and the cakes were fantastic and delicious. I would highly recommend vising The Soap Bar Cafe for their food, drink and atmosphere

Had a lovely time, my first visit since it was a pub! Very nicely prtesented and a super selection of cards and gifts as you enter to tempt you even before you go through for food etc. Small but nice menu with something for everyone. We were there in the morning so lunch menu not started. We both had a fab bacon sandwich on beautifully fresh bread, bacon was done exactly as asked, crispy but not cremated and delicious. Selection of teas and coffees and hot choc. We also both had a slice of homemade cake as there was a good selection, I had Victoria sponge and my friend had ginger, borh were good moist and tasty. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. I only glanced at lunch menu but I think I will be back to sample soon! Large car park and good disabled access. Well behaved dogs are also welcome which for me is a great bonus. Definitely worth a visit but book a table as it is popular and was nearly full when we left.

One of the nicest places I’ve visited in a while. Staff were so friendly, super welcoming people and environment. I’m sure it gets busy but wasn’t when we were there so was so calm and lovely. All the staff were lovely to my dog. Nice food and nice variety. Lovely drinks. Fast service good pricing. And the little shop was so nice. So great for little gifts and cards. Definitely coming back.

We recently booked lunch for a table of 9 including young children. The food was brought out for all of us at the same time which was really appreciated and they were able to cater for the vegans in our party and make requested modifications to some of the orders which weren't on the menu. Very good service and everyone enjoyed their food.

Very busy and lucky to get a table for three. Lovely decor and nice crockery. Didn't have cake but they looked fabulous. Toilets nice and clean with soaps and air fresheners which are sold in the Soap shop. Great toiletry/gift shop reasonably priced goods.

Been here many times for lunch and just coffee with friends and always found the staff very friendly , but the last couple times I've been including today there is one paticular member of staff that hasn't seemed very happy , didn't get her name but today she had jazzy trousers on. She hardly smiled and really not great customer service. Can't fault the food or coffee but maybe some staff could be a bit happier. The lady that showed us to our table and is usually on the shop counter was lovely and friendly as always . I thinks her name is Mrs Wells .
